Alternative to mammogram

and other diagnostic imaging assessments.

 

X to Rays, Digital Infared Thermal Imaging, is operated and owned by Dee DeNoia. After developing extensive experience in varied businesses, Dee followed her passion of wanting to help others and became a nurse in 2005. Her main focus has been holistic and preventive care. After having a full body scan by X to Rays, she was greatly impressed by thermography’s ability to detect many health issues in their earliest stages. X to Rays, LLC was expanding and the fit was perfect.

After extensive training, Dee became a certified clinical thermographer in 2013. Since then she has become invaluable to X to Rays and greatly appreciated for her knowledge and caring manner by all her patients.

Thermography measures the infrared radiation (heat) which emits from the surface of the body. Areas of abnormality, pathology or disease within the body will be observed as either hot or cold depending on the metabolic activity. An ultra-sensitive thermal camera and a sophisticated computer are used to convert the infrared heat emitting from the surface of the skin into electrical impulses that are visualized in color, known as a thermogram.

Although thermography is best known for imaging and assessing breast health, it has a wide range of other applications due to its ability to view inflammation. Inflammation is a precursor to many diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and cancer. Whether looking at the lymphatic or cardiovascular systems or looking at specific areas of concern like the oral cavity or breasts, a thermogram views these as one system, the whole body. The thermographic images seen here depict oral inflammation and the connection to the lymphatic system.

  • Ketorolac - Anti-Inflammatory & Pain Management: Ketorolac, also known under the brand names Toreador and Biorolac, is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to treat moderate to severe pain. Can be given IV or Injection Intramuscular. 15mg $25, 30mg $40 via IV 60mg $50 via IM Injection. 

  • Zofran - anti-Nausea: A brand of ondansetron, Zofran is a medication used to prevent nausea and vomiting. It is commonly prescribed to patients undergoing cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy or surgery. It is also effective for treating for treating gastroenteritis. 4mg $25 IV

  • Famotidine - GI Upset: Sold under the brand name Pepcid, famotidine decreases stomach acid production. It is used to treat peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease. $30 IV​​
